What Is CNC Machining?

We start the CNC machining process with a digital design, typically created using CAD software. That design is then converted into a machine-readable program that guides cutting tools, drills, and lathes. The machine removes the material from a solid block, known as the workpiece, to create the final shape within extremely tight tolerances.
